Despite a generally uncertain economic environment, the Haute-Savoie start-up continues to grow and still enjoys considerable development prospects. And the season is off to a great start for Ski~Mojo with the awarding of the SME of the Year trophy on Monday, September 26th, at the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during the 13th edition of the RMC SME Trophies for the South-East region.
This award recognizes a French SME that continues to grow and improve. After starting the sale of the Ski~Mojo in La Clusaz in the winter of 2014-2015, in a very artisanal way, the company today has a portfolio of more than 15,000 users, both amateurs and professionals, nearly 300 retailers, and last year achieved a turnover of €1.6 million. This growth, averaging 60% per year, continues year after year, both in France and abroad, thanks to a user satisfaction rate close to 100%. With a significantly increased order book compared to previous years, the company plans to manufacture and sell nearly 7,000 new exoskeletons this winter.
This award fuels Ski~Mojo’s relentless determination and encourages it to go even further in its development. Already this year, the consumer exoskeleton Made in France for skiing boasts an impressive customer satisfaction rate and opens the door to new R&D projects, which will be announced soon: major sectoral diversification is on the horizon!
ABOUT SKI~MOJO
Marketed in France since the winter of 2014, the Ski Mojo is the first public exoskeleton and the first exoskeleton for skiing in the broadest sense (alpine skiing, ski touring, snowboarding, etc.). Targeted at all skiers, it can be worn either outside the pants or invisibly under the pants. The Ski Mojo acts as a sort of intelligent orthosis that doubles the user’s muscles and joints. By supporting one-third of the skier’s weight and absorbing shocks and vibrations, the Ski Mojo relieves both muscles and joints, particularly the knees, hips, and back.
